Great! Seems like I gave some good advice there...makes me happy. Ah, facebook would be more difficult. People do comment on my pictures, but most of them don't comment through an artist's perspective.
But anyway, getting literature and most especially, poetry, noted is very difficult, can only happen if you have alot of people watching you..that'll take time, stick to the forums and eventually people will notice you.
Yeah, islamabad it is, thank God I don't live in an area like..like, Larkana(is that even an area??)
193, anime eden does have it, it takes a while for it to become available, but not that long. Zone anime? I should check that, anime eden doesn't have the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, seen it?
Limited downloading should be a crime, it means you can't download that much, because most of it goes in opening pages, making youtube work and checking your dA account.

It really is hard getting poetry noticed!! takes a lot of hardwork but anyway I will try my hardest though I am not that eager to be famous or anything. If somebody reads em and finds them interesting that's great and if somebody takes one step further and actually comments..well they will have my sincerest gratitude!
You have got to say something about my deductive skills now don't you!! I knew it I should have become a private detective but to guess your city in the first guess that's good even by my standards if I do say so myself. Actually my mother's side are all in Islamabad, my grand parents and khalas etc. I even did one year of schooling in Islamabad.. it was Ambrose Hall School, if I remember correctly, So I get to visit quite often and I just love the rhythm and pace of the city.
Hey come on lady be nice, I am a Sialkoti after all and I have a soft corner for small cities and towns. Larkana is a city and though I have never been there myself but if its anything like small towns that I know of, there are bound to be genuine and generous people living there.
194 is out now but I am just about to leave for Sialkot, so will download it when I come back. I am also following Naruto Shippuden and both of their episodes come out on the same day. Zone Anime also has the option for you to download .avi files. The rm file was around 80mb.
No not seen "Haruhi Suzumiya" just read a synopsis on wikipedia, seems interesting indeed. I am just following Trigun, will check it out after I have finished Trigun.

Yeah, the main idea is that you should like what you make or write but then a time comes when you want other people to notice you, human nature I guess.
Most of my family lives in Karachi and Lahore...how ironic. Ambrose hall, haven't heard of that one. But then again, I haven't heard of many institutions. Islamabad may be a nice city but it's not as good as Khi and Lhr, those two cities have opportunities and are more open to different ideas.
Nah, I didn't mean that small cities and towns are bad, I just meant that I'm grateful to be living in a place that has all the facilities I need, it's fairly less conventional and well, it isn't so tiny. Last time I heard, you couldn't get DSL in small towns.
194's up too...darn it, anime eden still hasn't uploaded 193. I'll check the site you mentioned. Rm is okay but the resolution is poor and you can't make amv's with that format. And if you want to convert them to avi...well, it's like hell.
Ack! Hate Naruto...why that anime is so popular is beyond me. The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is pretty good, and the animation is so perfect. Along with that, darker than black and ouran are equally good

You are right to point out that people want to be noticed and admired for what they do but there is also great maturity and wisdom in not letting that be the focus of why you do stuff!!
Ironic indeed but that’s how it is these days I guess, people are scattered far and wide and you are bound to have a number of people you know living in big cities. I was in class 2 when I went to Ambrose Hall, ain't even sure if its still there. It was a small school anyway. Recently I wanted to get into NUML for my Master's degree but business got in the way
Yah smaller towns do lack certain facilities but as far as Sialkot is concerned thankfully we have DSL (Wateen, PTCL & LinkdotNet), it’s because we have a thriving business community... our per capita income of the city is equal to that of Japan, we have made our own roads throughout the city and recently we built our own Airport.. Now how cool is that!
Just saw 194... they are really stretching a few of the sequences but hey its Bleach... Now why would you want to go ahead making AMVs or AVIs?? But I must agree the quality is not that of an AVI but hey it beats watching anime on myspacetv
Come on Naruto ain't that terrible! OK I agree its more of an acquired taste but for those of us who have delved deeper.. Naruto (especially Naruto Shippuden) is ok by me! Ouran!!! seen a few episodes... didn't really made much of an impression. Now Darker than Black sounds interesting... will definitely check it out. Have you seen Fate Stay Night? I am sure you will like it... OK please don't be offended but I need to show you a picture (No its not me or anything fishy, which some would argue is the same thing ;|) Its actually an anime, I saw a banner of it somewhere and I saved a screenshot and I am asking around if somebody knows which anime it is!! Yeah, that's a good point, but sometimes a good dose of popularity helps increase your interest in doing something.
Agree with that point too, these cities are like that. Islamabad has a lot of potential and it'll reach that point soon, but not too soon. I guess it's a great place to invest in. Cities that aren't that popular make great areas to invest in.
